Blessing

All that God blesses is our good:
All unblessed good is ill;
And all is right that seems most wrong
If it be His blest will.

I am too blessed to be stressed.

Name it and claim it, believe it and receive it.

Christians

Christians must keep the faith, but not to themselves.

Don't be so heavenly minded that you are no earthly good.

We are the Bibles the world is reading: We are the creeds the world is needing: We are the sermons the world is heeding.

We are not Jesus only, we are Jesus everything.

We don't live to be saved, we live because we are saved.

Character is what a man is in the dark.

Courage

Courage is a decision, fear is a reaction.

Courage is an outgrowth of who we are.

Courage is not the absence of fear, but action inspite of fear.

God

God is good all the time, all the time God is good.

The Son of God became the Son of Man, that sons of men may become the Sons of God.

You can apprehend God, but you cannot comprehend God.

We trust Sir, that God is on our side.  It is more important to know that we are on God's side.

Grace

I am not what I ought to be, I am not what I wish to be, I am not what I hope to be, but by the grace of God I am what I am.

Helping

Many hands make light work.

Our doing good to others will do none to us, if it be not well done.

Some people are like blisters, they don't show up until the work is done.

Too many cooks spoil the soup.

Hope

When you come to the end of your rope ... tie a knot and hang on.

The atmosphere of hope is the breeding ground for miracles.

Today is the first day of the rest of our lives.

Humility

High places are slippery places.

Meekness is not weakness.  It is strength under control.

The humblest calf sucks the most milk.

The one who kneels to the Lord can stand up to anything.

People don't care how much you know until they know how much you care.

Knowledge

It's not what you know, but who you know.

It's not how many scriptures you can quote, but how many you can live.

If you don't know who you are, the devil will give you a few suggestions.

Know God know peace, no God no Peace.

The straight edge of the law shows us how crooked we are.

Those who have knowledge of God, ought to acknowledge God.

Life

Life is not measured by how many breaths we take, but by how many moments that take our breath away.

The greatest tragedy is to lose God but not miss him.

The Jews observed it (the law), Christ fulfilled it, we live it.

If you haven't got the time to do it right, when will you find the time to do it over.

Live your life today as if you will live with Christ tomorrow.

The ultimate choice in life is between pleasing oneself or pleasing God.

You can spend your life any way you want to, but you can only spend it once.

Love

The Bible tells us to love our neighbors and our enemies, probably because they are both the same.

Patience

Patience is a virtue, and virtue is its own reward.

Prayer

Lord deliver me from the man that never makes a mistake, and also from the man that makes the same mistake twice.

Prayer from the heart is the heart of prayer.  The cry of our soul is the soul of our cry.

Secret prayer is the secret of prayer.

The ability of a preacher to talk to people about God depends on his ability to talk to God about those people.

When you can't sleep, don't count sheep ... Talk to the Shepard.

Preparing

An ounce of prevention is better than a pound of cure.

Success is a journey not a destination.

What you get by reaching your destination is not merely as important as what you become by reaching that destination.

The dictionary is the only place that 'Success' comes before 'Work'.

Even if you're on the right track, you'll get run over if you just sit there.

The world is full of willing people, some willing to work and others willing to let them.

Sin
